The Crossfit Open has arrived and we encourage everyone to sign up and have some fun. This Saturday: Simi Valley WOD Wars, or something like that, at CrossFit Simi Valley. Coaches Jimmy and Allison will be defending the world from tyranny and oppression via some WOD domination. But don't trip sweet potato chip (it's more paleo that way), Saturday will still be rockin' and you'll all be sweatin'. Fast! 21-15-9 Cleans Wall Balls Every year, millions of people around the world, of varying age and skill level, compete in something called the CrossFit Games Open. It's a 5 week online competition organized by the CrossFit Headquarters. Each week, they'll release a WOD. You have a week to complete the WOD and submit your score. Then you'll be ranked accordingly with EVERYONE WORLDWIDE. How awesome is that?! Also, if you place in the top 60 in your region, you'll advance to the Southern California Regional Competition in May. If you place in the top 3 there, you get to compete in the CrossFit Games this Summer against the best Crossfitters in the world and get some sweet coverage on ESPN.
We think everyone at CrossFit Synapse will do AWESOME in the Open, and we highly encourage EVERYONE to register and compete. We'll be doing the WODs in class anyway, so all you have to do is come to class, then log your scores. Register, compete, and surprise yourself. Give yourself a goal.
